As a Senior Scientist in fertility, Dr G Band has a wealth of qualifications. Being responsible for establishing several sperm banks in Israel and the UK, Dr G Band was in charge of recruiting healthy sperm donors, leading the Andrology laboratory and training a new generation of scientists to ensure the delivery of high-quality sperm samples and Andrology services to patients, in accordance with regulatory and professional guidelines.

About me
Hi, I'm Dr Gili Band, Consultant Scientist in Fertility
I have a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Tel-Aviv in Israel and I am a registered Biomedical Scientist in the UK. My history as a Senior Scientist with over 20 years of experience, working hand in hand with leading fertility doctors, sperm banks and Andrology labs the world over, has given me the insight into every aspect of fertility, including scientific, medical, legal, and social.
My clients are single mothers by choice, same-sex or heterosexual couples, considering seeking fertility treatments using a sperm donor or a partner's sperm.
The Need For Guidance & Clarity
Having a fertility treatment can be emotionally and physically challenging and every person’s needs are unique. While some prefer to rely on family or close friends for support, others may benefit from seeking the assistance of a professional.
Studies have shown that there are various reasons that may hold patients back from seeking help in becoming a parent. Single mothers by choice can feel stigmatized and sometimes experience negative thoughts, or wait for the right relationship, while couples may feel embarrassed or experience self-blame.
